The Montcada 005 residential community is located on the 5 Pablo Picasso street, Montcada I Reixac, in the Mas Rampinyo neighbourhood, very close to the Ripollet road. The homes have been designed with the objective of minimizing energy consumption and carbon footprint, offering a quality home and helping its inhabitants to improve their quality of life.
Montcada 005 is an isolated rectangular building oriented to four winds in front of the Parc de la Llacuna. It houses 26 apartaments, 12 storage rooms and 20 parking spaces in the basement with pre-installation for charging electric vehicles, and a private outdoor area for parking bicycles and/or electrics scooters.
Homes built to maximise energy efficiency
The Moncada 005 building is certified with the A energy efficiency label for emissions and consumption, issued by the ICAEN. In order to achieve this certification, external advice was provided by the worker cooperative Sociedad Orgánica, an organisation that works in the field of building and sustainability in research, consultancy, communication, development of its own work tools and generation of information on material flows that allow reflection and progress towards new sustainable models.
The A energy qualification makes it possible to live in a very efficient home, with a much lower annual energy expenditure and without the use of fossil fuels during the lifetime of the Moncada 005 apartments.

Sustainability Index
The purpose of Omplim is to transform the way to build and develop real estate promotions. To ensure compliance in each development we carry out, we have created a Sustainability Index as a measurement system that allows us to quantify the impact generated by our real estate projects on an individual basis.
Each building analysed in the project phase, execution and the forecast of its use; as well as the impact of the project on all its interest grups and the territory.

Once we landed in Montcada i Reixac, we began to look for community projects that would work to improve their territory. We financed part of their social or environmental activity and helped them to grow up together with other courageous projects, which also fought for a better Montcada.
